The event (the program of which is available here) is aimed at promoting the exchange and discussion of the complex processes that take place in soil-plant relationships in forest ecosystems, in a perspective of conscious balance between environmental protection and productive use. The seminar is open to soil and forest scientists, teachers, administrators, environmental and landscape experts.

During the event, Dr. Ugo Chiavetta will speak out explaining some of the results obtained during the FoResMit project, with a presentation entitled “Impact of thinning treatments on greenhouse gas fluxes in a degraded pine forest”.
