The workshop “”I servizi eco-sistemici forestali: stato dell’arte e strategie di sviluppo dei mercati volontari e delle misure forestali dei PSR” (Forest ecosystem services: state of the art and development strategies for voluntary markets and forestry measures of the RDPs) will take place on Tuesday 28 January 2020 at the CREA headquarters in Rome (here the program of the event).

The forest ecosystem is the one that most contributes to the absorption of atmospheric carbon and to the
provision of other eco-systemic services.
Forest owners/managers offering eco-systemic services can be motivated with multiple financial instruments.
The seminar aims to illustrate and analyze the main tools that allow to finance forest sustainability projects. During the seminar the report on
“2019 forestry sustainability projects” will be presented, including the LIFE FoResMit project which will be presented by the coordinator Dr. Alessandra Lagomarsino.
